Last week the art club brainstormed some concepts and ideas for our first project. We will work together as a group to build a life size scarecrow out of recyclable materials. This scarecrow will be entered into the Piedmont Interstate Fair! Fingers crossed, because I know our group is talented and will create something AMAZING!
Last week 6 groups wrote concepts for what we will create. Several faculty and staff members helped me decide for art club to create a "mother nature" themed scarecrow. We chose this because the theme for the fair this year is "We've Got Another Thing Growing." We thought the mother nature concept could go in many different directions using that theme!
Club members began making details and building the scarecrow today! Here is what we have so far!
